Rock chalk: Congratulations to the NCAA champion Kansas Jayhawks, a title well deserved.

Winthrop does the tournament a great disservice

Here's an early-afternoon update:

Nothing against the Eagles, but is anyone else crushed that they won't get another shot to watch Kenny George this month? When he is on the floor for UNC-Ashville, it's just flat-out impossible to watch anything else. The kid makes 6-foot-9 players look like the munchkins from Wizard of Oz. It's just downright ... odd. But, even with the 7-foot-7, 360-pound George on the floor, UNC-A was eliminated easily. Which is a shame -- I wanted to see how a major-conference team dealt with him.

Alright, back to the end of the Louisville-Georgetown game. Great stuff so far, but both teams are having trouble scoring.

Winthrop Rocks.... George is a big guy that cannot run, dribble, or shoot. he can only stand there and block the lane and dunk the basket. I seen him 3 times this year, and yet to be impressed........

BB still think highly about UCLA? I'm not impressed getting outhustled by a poor Cal team.

As boring as the Badgers are to watch, props to them for winning the Big 10 outright today. They will be a tough "out" because there is not one guy on the roster a team could gameplan for, all season it's been a different guy that steps up in each game.

Stanford? If they get a 2 seed I'm taking the 15 provided that 15 team has at least one shooter.

BB, today was the first time I Watched Kenny George. I've heard he was dominant, but after today's game I come away with the impression that he is useless. Sure he makes it so that the opposing team can't drive the lane, but he can BARELY make it up and down the court! It was painful to watch. Moving right along, I'm watching USC-Stanford play as we speak, and USC really looks like they can play (at halftime). What's up with this team?!?!

You're talking about the team that almost beat Tennessee in a 2-15 matchup a couple years ago?
