BB is in LOVE with UCLA
Wow. How about that finish, eh? Only the big bracketologist in the sky knows for sure if UCLA is going to win the national title, but I can safely say this: Whoever beats the Bruins will have to put a stake through their hearts. My goodness, did they steal that game away from Cal or what?
This is my concern with UCLA as a national championship pick. Is EVERYBODY going to pick them now, especially if they win the Pac-10 tournament? Vitale, Packer, Bilas, the whole bloody bunch of them?

Winthrop does the tournament a great disservice
Here's an early-afternoon update:
Nothing against the Eagles, but is anyone else crushed that they won't get another shot to watch Kenny George this month? When he is on the floor for UNC-Ashville, it's just flat-out impossible to watch anything else. The kid makes 6-foot-9 players look like the munchkins from Wizard of Oz. It's just downright ... odd. But, even with the 7-foot-7, 360-pound George on the floor, UNC-A was eliminated easily. Which is a shame -- I wanted to see how a major-conference team dealt with him.
