ONIONS!

West Virginia-Xavier was another classic game, one made 10 times better because Bill Raftery was doing the game. He was spot on tonight. He just said this -- "Puttin' it all out there! Oh my goodness. Celebration. And why not?!" -- during a replay! If you can muster that excitement for a replay, you are money.

No question, when Joe Alexander went to the bench early in overtime with his fifth foul, you just knew Xavier was going to pull it out. Alexander was the heart and the soul of that team, and without him, they looked lost on offense. Xavier, meanwhile, is much better than BB thought -- they're deep and talented. Consider that a reserve, B.J. Raymond, hits the big 3-pointer in overtime, and team leader Drew Lavender did not have his best game.

Raftery just shook Josh Duncan's hand and said, "OOOOH! That thing is HOT!" So are you, Billy R. So are you.

Yeah, Raftery is great. Vitale is obnoxious. Billy Packer - I can't say it here.

Yea!! I agree with you 100% BB. When they took Alexander out of the game you knew that West Virginia losto ne of their best players. Xavier played better then I thought they would tonight with many of their players shooting 3-throws on the money. Now how will Xavier do against UCLA or West Kentucky (depending on who wins) I can't say.
