Rock chalk: Congratulations to the NCAA champion Kansas Jayhawks, a title well deserved.
The World's best Bracketologst.

Two down, two to go ...

North Carolina and UCLA. Two shockers! Alright, not really. But half the Final Four is set at chalk with a chance for all chalk. Here's your final word:

Texas vs. Memphis

From the had-to-hear-it-to-believe-it file: Memphis coach John Calipari is trying to sell the idea that his team loaded with NBA prospects is now an underdog. Why, because Dick Vitale picked Michigan State? Texas had a tougher test against Stanford, with forward Damion Jones (18 points) and 6-10, 299-pound Dexter Pittman proving the Longhorns have more than just a great backcourt. And they’ll need it today.

Bracket Boy responds: Underdogs my you-know-what. I’d take the Tigers against the Memphis Grizzlies. Just not in this game. Pick: Texas.

Davidson vs. Kansas

Perhaps we should interrupt this Stephen Curry lovefest to acknowledge the obvious: A team that wins 25 straight games, including back-to-back victories over the Big East and Big Ten champs, is more than just one player. The Wildcats also have Jason Richards, who had 13 assists and no turnovers in the Sweet 16 win over Wisconsin, and Andrew Lovedale, who contributed 12 points. Now back to Curry: Can an athletic Kansas defense finally do what no team has done and stop him?

Bracket Boy responds: Curry is everything that’s good for college basketball and bad for my bracket. Oh, the internal conflict! Pick: Kansas.

My bracket's dead, so GO Davidson!

Don't think I've seen a year in awhile where there are 3 teams that are so dominant (I'm still excluding Memphis - they're good, but don't have the total package) and the rest of the 64 teams are very mediocre. Teams that have dominated their conferences are just awful! Still not sure where Davidson fits into all this.

I'm hoping you're wrong about Kansas, but good point about Davidson not being a one man team. Curry is definitely a team player, something certain "freshman phenoms" should pay attention to, but won't.

Speaking of freshmen, how many years do you think Love will play?
